What brought you to a career in technology at the United Nations?
I joined the United Nation Office on Drugs and Crime as I had experience working on a project for the Human Trafficking and Smuggling of Migrants, and the relevant connection with Cybercrime as a new form of exploitation.
What has been your favorite technology project or initiative at the United Nations and why? What was your contribution?
My favourite project was Prevention and Prosecution of Cybercrime, collaborating in activities with children and women in vulnerable situations and preventing cybercrime. It was a wonderful experience.
What advice would you give women interested in pursuing a field in technology?
Technology is the future and it is important to develop skills and leadership in this area.
