What brought you to a career in technology at the United Nations?

My academic and professional background is in technology, especially information technology and data. I am perusing my educational background in my work.

What has been your favorite IT project at the United Nations and what was your technical contribution?

My favorite IT project at the United Nations was data collection in field mission during an emergency time when there was the list source was available with very limited budget.

What advice would you give women interested in pursuing a field in technology?

I strongly encourage them to start working on their technical skills and ignore social boundaries, especially in the western communities where I grew up, there is no encouragement for female tech workers a lot of discrimination.
