What brought you to a career in technology at the United Nations?

It was important to me to be of service to an organization that embodied my values. The organization was an amazing fit and has enabled me to flourish.

What has been your favorite IT project at the United Nations and what was your technical contribution?

My favorite project has been the deployment of UMOJA ERP system. As a trained SLO for my mission at the time, I was part of an amazing team that undertook a huge role of migrating systems, managing deployment, user training and task management.

What advice would you give women interested in pursuing a field in technology?

I would advise women to know that they are much needed in a field that is dominated by men. The input and contribution of women to the workforce can transform their lives and those around them.
