What brought you to a career in technology at the United Nations?

I was drawn to a career in technology at the United Nations due to my passion for leveraging data-driven solutions to address complex global challenges. The UN's mission to promote peace, development, and human rights resonated with me, and I recognized the pivotal role that technology and data play in achieving these goals.

What has been your favorite technology project or initiative at the United Nations and why? What was your contribution?

Working as a Data Management Officer in the UN Resident Coordination System allows me to contribute to the organization's efforts in a unique way. I am committed to ensuring that data is effectively managed and utilized to inform decision-making processes, enhance coordination among different agencies, and ultimately improve the impact of UN initiatives on the ground. Being part of the United Nations provides me with the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams and national stakeholders, using technology to facilitate communication, streamline operations, and contribute to the overall success of development projects in Mauritius & Seychelles.
