What brought you to a career in technology at the United Nations?

I chose Computer Science and IT as my major when I enrolled in university for my first degree. After graduating, I joined Ethiotelecom in the telecommunications sector where I completed numerous training courses and earned various international certificates. These experiences have made me more involved and interested in technology.

What has been your favorite IT project at the United Nations and what was your technical contribution?

My favorite IT projects at the UN were the FRIM and ONPASS project at MONUSCO.

What advice would you give women interested in pursuing a field in technology?

I encourage women to join any sector of technology.
