What brought you to a career in technology at the United Nations?
I have a computer science engineering background with a masters degree in Geospatial Information Systems. These qualifications are essential to support UNHQ and UN missions for operations and peacekeeping.
What has been your favorite technology project or initiative at the United Nations and why? What was your contribution?
My contribution was to assess the data and processes within our office and collect operational needs to design and build a system supporting decision-making in Military performance evaluation.
What advice would you give women interested in pursuing a field in technology?
I advice any woman who is interested in technology to go ahead and have an innovative mindset with supportive tools that can help UNHQ and the missions.
