What brought you to a career in technology at the United Nations?

To contribute to the work of the United Nations using my IT skills and expertise.

What has been your favorite IT project at the United Nations and what was your technical contribution?

My favorite IT project was the Digitization project. The project involved transforming paper-based forms into digital data capture. The data that is captured will later be used for different types of analysis and visuals. My contribution was developing online forms using power apps, automating workflows using Microsoft Power Automate and creating dashboard reports using power BI.

What advice would you give women interested in pursuing a field in technology?

Look into courses and training you can do to improve and widen your skills. Keep a work/life balance.
