What brought you to a career in technology at the United Nations?
It is very fulfilling to be part of an organization and a global community that strives to make changes with a universal impact, shaping the world of the future. It is priceless to work with multicultural and diverse teams that have the widest variety of experiences, perceptions, and preferences towards the same goal. The project I am involved in uses the latest technologies which I learned during my MSc. degree in Business Analytics. This role was a perfect fit with my background and experience in the IT sector.
What has been your favorite IT project at the United Nations and what was your technical contribution?
Working as an Associate Information Systems Officer at the Dag Hammarskjöld Library at the UN Headquarters, in New York City, I have the opportunity to be involved in various tasks. My responsibilities range from establishing and ensuring that the IT processes run smoothly and the testing and quality assurance of the IT Systems that support the library are operating efficiently. In addition, I overlook the multidimensional analysis of the library's online presence, preparing user requirements as well as UX design tasks.

There are opportunities worldwide in various sectors, across markets for both specialist and generalist profiles. Technology is a rapidly changing field. You will always be motivated!
