What brought you to a career in technology at the United Nations?
Academic studies including BSc. in Electrical Engineering and master's degree in information technology from the University of Liverpool.
What has been your favorite IT project at the United Nations and what was your technical contribution?
The deployment of Checkpoint firewall for 33 OCHA country offices including network upgrade and migration to OICT environment. The project was completed in two year, and I wrote an article about the big achievement on the OICT technology website.
What advice would you give women interested in pursuing a field in technology?
Technology is a lot of fun and an interesting field as one should commit to continuous learning. I also believe that women in tech. are very attractive and powerful due to their knowledge that distinguishes them in the field.
