What brought you to a career in technology at the United Nations?

Well United Nations needed a UI UX designer, and I was informed about the opportunity that UN needed someone creative to modernize and transform some of their existing websites to a more user-friendly platform as well as create new websites and I wanted to explore this journey.

What has been your favorite IT project at the United Nations and what was your technical contribution?

I would say the FSAD Project "Keeping the Promise" where I Created Mobile Web app Design. Objective: A social media activation to demonstrate your commitment: Scan the code that takes you to the website, add your photo to one of our photo filter Promise and share with your friends on your social media platforms.

What advice would you give women interested in pursuing a field in technology?

To pursue a career in technology, women should educate themselves, find a mentor, build a network, embrace challenges, and be confident in their abilities. They should learn about the field, join tech communities, take on difficult projects, and not be intimidated by being a minority.
