Developed by Accenture in partnership with the UN Office of Information and Communications Technology (OICT) and the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA), SDG Chat provides a single, conversational entry point to SDG publications and knowledge. The application is designed to help global stakeholders quickly find relevant information and gain insights from UN SDG content.

DESA produces extensive research, analysis and policy recommendations on SDG implementation, but this information is often contained in long, technical reports and distributed across different formats and channels.
SDG Chat uses generative AI to make this knowledge easier to access. People using the toil can interact with SDG content through a simple, intuitive interface rather than searching across multiple sources.

SDG Chat is grounded in 800+ UN publications, DESA and divisional websites and structured databases. Its responses help to connect end-users to the underlying UN sources and drive traffic to relevant DESA webpages.
