What brought you to a career in technology at the United Nations?

I wanted to use my skills and knowledge in technology to help those who are helping the world, make their jobs easier and more productive.

What has been your favorite technology project or initiative at the United Nations and why? What was your contribution?

UNHQ High Density Wi-Fi Infrastructure This project was implemented during the renovation. I was responsible with building the Wi-Fi core network as well as configuration and management of a thousand Wi-Fi access points installed throughout the UN campus in New York. UNHQ Internet Links Upgrade Planned and implemented the configuration of the bandwidth increase making it redundant and highly available.

What advice would you give women interested in pursuing a field in technology?

Be confident about your skills and never stop learning.
