What brought you to a career in technology at the United Nations?

I wanted to utilize my expertise in Information Technology to support the United Nations in achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

What has been your favorite technology project or initiative at the United Nations and why? What was your contribution?

The closure of the UNOCI Mission in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, I was in charge of developing an application that was used to close different camps in different regions. The App was also used to sell assets, which made the work of the procurement office fast and efficient. Furthermore, the team got recognition for a job well done from the UN Headquarters in New York.

What advice would you give women interested in pursuing a field in technology?

My advice to women is to get involved beyond their job description. The world is your oyster in the IT field.
