Why did you decide on a career at the UN?

I’ve always believed in the power of communication to bridge gaps between people, sectors, and systems. A career at the UN allows me to combine my marketing expertise and global mindset to serve a purpose beyond profit—promoting sustainable development, open collaboration, and inclusive narratives, especially for underrepresented groups in the digital space.

What has been your favorite technology project or initiative at the United Nations and why? What was your contribution?

My favorite initiative is Reboot the Earth, a global effort mobilizing youth to develop open-source climate solutions through local hackathons. I led content creation for the New York edition, producing multilingual videos and managing social media campaigns. This experience showed me how digital storytelling can amplify climate innovation and connect changemakers across borders.

What advice would you give women interested in pursuing a field in technology?

Don’t be afraid of challenges or making mistakes—learning by doing is key. The tech field evolves fast, and your courage to experiment, adapt, and grow will set you apart. Your perspective matters, and every step you take helps shape a more inclusive digital future.
