What brought you to a career in technology at the United Nations?

The sheer thrill of exercising technology available at your disposal, with a little knowledge, to make work more efficient, thus harnessing better performance out of every minute used.

What has been your favorite technology project or initiative at the United Nations and why? What was your contribution?

I was enthralled by the GIS project functional in my mission, which collated data coming in from the entire sector to be available at the click of a button. I am working to enhance a layer in the same system to help the mission with data compilation of new strategic actors.

What advice would you give women interested in pursuing a field in technology?

Go for it! As women, we have a knack for multitasking. Infusing that into technology can do wonders. We can use the power of technology to make the world a better place.
