What brought you to a career in technology at the United Nations?

To experience diversity and increase the breadth of opportunities, as I have a wide range of skills and expertise.

What has been your favorite technology project or initiative at the United Nations and why? What was your contribution?

I cannot pick a specific one, but I enjoy working on challenging projects, such as during the COVID pandemic when we had to ensure services were available to our users at remote locations around the world. My role was mainly to draw up a contingency plan that would ensure key services were accessible to users.

What advice would you give women interested in pursuing a field in technology?

Be open to learn every day. It's a challenging and demanding career and requires total devotion to learning new skills and ideas.
