To learn relevant tech skills and gain experience. In IT there is a great option for the next move. And with growth, high wages and work–life balance, IT helps me to best move.

What has been your favorite IT project at the United Nations and what was your technical contribution?

My favorite IT project is maintenance and update of software. My technical contribution was to use my skills and knowledge to make other people's jobs easier and more productive.

What advice would you give women interested in pursuing a field in technology?

I would encourage women to interest in a technology field because it is a great field with many offers. Technology also gives many opportunities to know how the world works and nowadays it empowers women to be leaders. Women leading IT department always bring a fresh approach and offer unique perspectives to meet challenges, solve problems, and design new products. their presence in the work can help reduce the overall gender pay gap.
