What brought you to a career in technology at the United Nations?

The passion for digitalization of Weapon Systems in Data Collection, analysis and implementation for prompt and accurate decision making gave me a career in Information Technology. Traditional ways of data collection needed to be improved for effective and timely decision making.

What has been your favorite technology project or initiative at the United Nations and why? What was your contribution?

Of all the projects conducted within UNIFIL, the favorite is the protection of VIPs within the Area of Operation. I maintain, troubleshoot and calibrate the Agile 127 Remote Control Weapon Systems whenever there is a malfunction.

What advice would you give women interested in pursuing a field in technology?

There are a lot of technological opportunities available. I challenge all women to break all barriers of gender inequality and get involved.
