Why did you decide on a career at the UN?
I chose a career at the UN because I'm passionate about global cooperation and making a meaningful impact on issues like peace, human rights, and sustainable development. The UN’s mission aligns closely with my values and professional goals. Force Headquarters showed me the importance of international cooperation in maintaining peace and security. I want to continue contributing to global stability through a broader, strategic role.
What has been your favorite technology project or initiative at the United Nations and why? What was your contribution?
I have been actively promoting digitalization by reducing paper use and implementing technology-based solutions to improve efficiency in day-to-day operations.
What advice would you give women interested in pursuing a field in technology?
Believe in your abilities, stay curious, and keep learning. Seek mentors, build a strong network, and don't be afraid to take up space in male-dominated rooms. Your perspective is valuable, and your voice matters. Technology needs diverse thinkers embrace challenges, stay resilient, and lead with confidence. You belong in tech.
