What brought you to a career in technology at the United Nations?

I am from military background back home but coming here as data analyst I find it amazing as a career with technology. This mission has inspired me to learn more about technology and get myself involved with this sector.

What has been your favorite technology project or initiative at the United Nations and why? What was your contribution?

Working as a data analyst on intelligence background my favorite IT project is UNMISS KLM project, FAID and also SAGE project. As analyst I try to contribute to most of the KLE project that helps the senior leadership to Assess the upcoming threats and mitigate the loss of life of innocent people. This project keeps us connected 24/7 through networking also all the information we need are almost readily available.

What advice would you give women interested in pursuing a field in technology?

Technology is the future. We women need to hold a good position in our careers, society, the battlefield, and anywhere else. We need to be more acquainted with this field. To be strong and competent, we need to grab this tool as a crucial means, as technology will be the superpower of our coming world.
