What brought you to a career in technology at the United Nations?
I always desired to work for the UN and we share the same passion of working with professionalism, integrity and respect for diversity. Being the largest agency, It was a great opportunity to improve my ICT skills, challenge myself and get an opportunity to collaborate with its many agencies.
What has been your favorite technology project or initiative at the United Nations and why? What was your contribution?
Using my analytics skills especially on Power Platform applications and MSSQL to build reports for UNON and its agencies that support management with decision making. To mention one, the Client Transparency Dashboard that supports billing for machines and IPT.
What advice would you give women interested in pursuing a field in technology?
Technology is the best field to be in! Personally, I enjoy making a difference through business processes automation and coming up with innovative ideas, like the creation of the iNeed Monitor app.
