What brought you to a career in technology at the United Nations?

I have always been curious to know why and how systems function or look the way they do, technology in the United Nations provided me an opportunity to explore and learn IT systems from the inside out.

What has been your favorite technology project or initiative at the United Nations and why? What was your contribution?

My favourite IT project was the implementation of an ERP system deployed across 30 duty stations. I was part of the deployment team assigned the role of data extraction, validation, testing and provision of post deployment support for the HRMS- workforce management module comprising of over 30 processes.

What advice would you give women interested in pursuing a field in technology?

Have a "I can do this" mentality, don't be afraid to fail. Let excellence be you intention always
