What brought you to a career in technology at the United Nations?
It was important to me to be of service in an organization that embodied my values. The organization was an amazing fit and has enabled me flourish.
What has been your favorite technology project or initiative at the United Nations and why? What was your contribution?
My favorite project has been the deployment of UMOJA ERP system, as a trained SLO for my mission at the time, I was part of an amazing team that undertook a huge role of migrating systems, deployment, User training and task management.
What advice would you give women interested in pursuing a field in technology?
I would advise women to know that they are much needed in a field that is dominantly men. Their input and contribution to the workforce has the ability to transform lives, theirs and others.
