What brought you to a career in technology at the United Nations?
I took my first Job at the UN with FTS where I have Learned all the skills that I have now. This was an unknown field for me but with the guidance and train of my chiefs and colleagues who are encouraging women to choose the technology career, I have become one of the few, but hoping in the future many, professional women of Information and Technology Services.
What has been your favorite technology project or initiative at the United Nations and why? What was your contribution?
Managing the IT & Communications Services in the COVID 19 Pandemic. Avail Apps and virtual Channels of communication using the 0365 tools to always be in touch with our end users and never stop providing our services. I also took the opportunity to let people know how important the technology in our lives is.
What advice would you give women interested in pursuing a field in technology?
Don't be afraid to choose for non-common career paths for women, we have many skills and power to achieve success in different fields that we are not aware of.
