What brought you to a career in technology at the United Nations?
I was always interested in learning ways to incorporate new technologies in my work and life. I have always been the go-to person for all things IT when it came to my office settings, be it the UN or my previous employers.
What has been your favorite IT project at the United Nations and what was your technical contribution?
UNTERM — a UN terminology database available in all 6 official languages of the United Nations. This is a great tool for knowledge sharing and management, and transferring knowledge within the Organization through a comprehensive repository.
What advice would you give women interested in pursuing a field in technology?
Dare to learn and try out new things. Don't be afraid to propose innovations.
