4th International User Group Meeting for goAML (IUGM4)
The Office of Information and Communications Technology (OICT) and the Financial Intelligence Unit – the Netherlands are co-hosting the 4th International User Group Meeting for goAML (IUGM4) at United Nations Headquarters (31 May – 1 June).
goAML is a software application used by Financial Intelligence Units (FIUs) to combat money laundering and the financing of terrorism developed by the Enterprise Application Centre-Vienna (EAC-VN). goAML is part of the “goPortfolio” family of software products for Member States intended to help strengthen their capacity to fight organized crime.
While IUGM4 is a closed meeting, all Member States are invited to attend the following event at UNHQ (Conference Room 7):
17.00 – 17.15 Introduction by Ms. Hennie Verbeek-Kusters, Chair of the International User Group on goAML and Head of FIU-the Netherlands, on FIUs combatting money laundering and the financing of terrorism
17.15 – 17.30 Briefing by Mr. Macs Maboka, FIU-South Africa
17.30 – 17.50 Briefing by Ms. Atefeh Riazi, Assistant Secretary-General and Chief Information Technology Officer, on the UN Digital Agenda
17.50 – 18.20 Discussion
18.20 – 18.30 Wrap-up and closing remarks
