IGF Logo

The Internet Governance Forum (IGF), a United Nations initiative, marks its 20th anniversary in 2025. Hosted this year in Norway, the Forum convened over 10,000 participants onsite and online, continuing its role as a global platform for dialogue on digital public policy.

With support from GIZ – Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit, the IGF Secretariat has produced a new video series highlighting critical issues in digital governance and the importance of multistakeholder dialogue at national, regional and global levels.

The first two videos feature UN IGF Leadership Panel Chairs:

  1. Vinton Cerf, Vice President and Chief Internet Evangelist at Google (watch the video here)
  2. Maria Ressa, CEO and Co-founder of Rappler, 2021 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate (watch the video here)

A third video is currently in production.

As the IGF works to expand its visibility beyond its core community, we invite colleagues across the UN system to engage with and amplify these resources to help showcase the Forum’s impact and relevance. You can follow updates via the IGF website.
